Card Art 1

This piece is constructed using credit cards, gift and discount cards, and plastic room keys.  The one-inch card pieces are set into 361 individual cells constructed of wood. Some cards date back to the 1980’s. I’m not sure why I held onto the cards for so long after their expiration dates, they just seemed to need saving. I love the vibrant colors and the reminder of the places I have traveled and people I have loved.
